Optilume was formed by two individuals with substantial experience in the optical engineering and marketing environments.

Guy Meyer is the CEO of Joma Consulting Services Ltd., a 14 year old company that manufactures custom industrial laser systems that are used for cutting, marking and welding.

Murray Paulson is the CEO of Starlight Technical Services, a company that designs and manufactures custom engineered solutions for industries and academia requiring optical technology.

Together they have a combined total of 51 years effectively dealing with technical and manufacturing challenges associated with optical engineering.

Optilume is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Value Added Reseller (VAR) or Exclusive Agent for many of the LED world’s largest manufacturers.

Osram, Osram-Sylvania, Nichia, Seoul Semiconductor and many other industry leaders have all formally joined with Optilume in order to support its efforts to become the premier Canadian manufacturer of LED lighting.

Optilume manufactures LED lighting systems that are modular, upgradeable and universally applicable to the above stated primary markets. The focus has been on developing lighting systems that optimize all available energy for the task. This simple premise is based upon the fact that if we (the globe) are to implement technology that will

truly reduce our impact upon this earth, we should ensure that the base technology is as efficient as possible. This means that all Optilume power supplies, optics, enclosures, and associated sub-technologies are purpose created and as close to perfection in terms of efficiency as is technically capable.

Further to this, Optilume possesses key Intellectual Property that will enhance the efficacy of ALL LED lighting systems globally. It is the intent of Optilume to ensure that proprietary technologies are employed by all manufacturers of raw LED light sources on a global scale.
